Hi guys, today my 2009 HRC blade blew over in a storm and damaged the right hand side fairing (and snapped brake leaver!). I could get away with replacing the graphic but ideally I would like to replace the fairing. Where am I best in the UK to source these? Thankyou in advance.
Lings Honda https://www.lingshondaparts.com/hon...F__3801&block_03=541&block_04=xx&block_05=hmc https://www.lingshondaparts.com/hon...F__0400&block_03=541&block_04=xx&block_05=hmc
Thankyou! Bloody expensive for a sticker , are there any reputable breakers known to the forum that may stock the fairing?
To be honest most breakers will sell most fairings as sets! And any they can't sell as sets usually go first due to people like yourself wanting them Just a case of hunting round all the breakers and eBay to see if you'll find one
Not sure you'll get a replacement fairing that's in perfect condition for less than about £150. You could always try removing the sticker off this with a hair dryer - not convinced it's possible though... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272546562029
I think you're right. All the ones for sale currently are damaged. I think ordering the decal from Honda will be a short term fix and keep an eye out for a mint replacement.
Dropped mine on same side, almost identical damage, think the stickers were going to work out over £200 and the dealer reckoned they are a tw*t to get right, I ended up getting a replacement panel from dealer for £340 The brake lever was about £50 as well.
At least you can sell the old fairing to recoup some of the cost, always someone looking for likes of a track bike etc.
That's what I thought and stuck it on EBay, no interest whatsoever, biggest problem is postage, couldn't find anything under £20, think it put people off. It's in the garage, I'll just hang on to it unless someone has desperate need for it.
Sounds like you have been through the same ordeal! Phoned Honda today and the fairing has to be made in Japan and won't be in the UK untill mid May.
That's unfortunate but in fairness mine was scratched for over a year and I just kept riding it, only decided to fix it as I'll probably be selling it this year so I thought dealers will knock at least £500 off the part ex for any damage so £340 seemed the better option, sort of logic there I think
