I've got the Veho. Cracking cam. Can't find the right place to fit the bugger on my bike though.

Go Pro here mate .. 60 FPS HD .. can't argue with that .. Search go pro on youtube and look what people are making with them. A bit on the pricy side yes but come with a water proof and indestructible box and lots of fitting options

I have an Oregon action cam, footage is reasonable i suppose but not great, i also bought an archos bullet cam with an extra battery pack and a 60gb hard drive with 4" lcd screen and wot a heap of kak that thing is, footage is actualy quite good but actualy using it is dreadful so thats in the back of a cupboard somewhere never to see the light of day again.
I do fancy a go pro tho i must admit they are easy to use and the quality looks the muts nuts, i see even the BBC use them on outdoor stuff which is a good enough recommendation i suppose

Yep looked at the Go Pro 2 details and it takes an external mic which puts it on my list, sound from the current Go Pro is not up to POV HD standard. Have had several Bullet Cams in the past off Dogcam and have used them in conjunction with my camcorder, and the quality has been excellent, the only downside being the bloody cables all over the place. I do want good video and sound quality so an external mic is a must if I decide on a Go Pro. Just interested to see how the POV HD stacks up in use.

Hi I have stumbled across this on eBay 190565285686 it's a contour pro plus HD cam. It gets decent reviews and it's a good size, and as I believe it has an external mic too :) any One here got One? Or any suggestions for a good bullet Cam ? I want a Small bullet shaped cam as I would like it fitted descreatly under the nose of my blade, any ideas? Sound is not to much of an issue as I was going to fit two, one front view one rear view, was going to fit the contour at the back, it has gps on it too, so should be able to do tracking of routes too ( bonus )

The only problem with that is wires. With the Gopro and others of that ilk, no wires. A battery can last unto 5 hrs when you get an add on, or you can charge it on the bike. I was looking to get a bullet cam, but the wires put me off.

I like it, it solves the issue I have, as I would like to fit the front cam permenantly on the bike, not sure if i can feed 1.5m of cable to the front of the bike from the rear seat?, a test feed might be necessary.

looks a better bet than the ones from China.

    and the samples look good.
