Mucoff & Mr sheen most of the time plus acf50 in winter to protect, occasionally buy bottles of fancy stuff to try but the former has been doing the job for all year round high mileage biking
Yep nothing wrong with bog standard Mr sheen, a lot of dealers use it for cheap shine. I sometimes use the silicone stuff but can be £9 a tin!!! I've heard also that silicone based sprays can penetrate paintwork that can affect re sprays but don't know how right that is. Bike gets like this in the week & then a good wash with mucoff, quick polish with sheen & bit of acf50 again & she comes up like previous pic
she is dirty... mine at the moment looks like I've taken it off track... I'll defo try the ACf50 and Mr sheen .. I use the silicone stuff and like you said it' 8.99 a tin too much sometimes
cheers mate ... I don't know, they come with the bike when I brought it. TBH I think there only cheap. going to switch them over soon .
Haha, to be honest paul it looks worse than it is as it’s covered in acf50 the chain gets cleaned twice a week and the calipers off the discs for cleaning every weekend and comes up like new in the spring when taken apart to deep clean. Probably do more damage sitting in a garage all winter? Lol
Sounds like your on top of your maintenance and cleaning and if your riding the bike for commuting on a daily basis then your doing it right. Might have to get me some of that acf50 just to keep the damp out while the bikes in the garage....I have to admit I don't ride to work that often unless it' a fine day.......and because of the dreaded helmet hair!!!
Yeah it's a nightmare Lozzy......I have to take the hairdryer into work in my backpack so I can sort my Barnet out when I get there. Plus all the product on my hair plays havoc with my helmet lining!!
