Hi wanted any advice please my fireblade which has always been fine since I’ve owned over 6 years

It he sat for maybe month and half with fuel but fuel smelt fine and I cleaned tank and pump ect

It started on the button ran up for 10/15 seconds then it cuts off as if kill switch is pressed pump primes and you can start again and repeats This sequence

put into Honda main dealer who have had for 3 months and have called to say they done checks can’t find anything but could be Ecu?? Any thoughts many thanks Ben

Sorry I've no diagrams for this year. But as a pure guess,I suspect that you are only getting a prime on the fuel pump and not the engine running signal.
You'll need to find a decent diagram and see if it's got 2 feeds to the pump or relay.
    Good luck

Yellow common earth block is always worth checking out. Not sure if under the tank cover or nose cone.

Now I do know that is a very common thing on this year I need to find once I get it stripped and into it

only thing I done different just before this problem is really concentrate on cleaning the swing arm in front of back wheel like spraying loads cleaner and scrubbing which I know the neutral switch is located maybe that got wet but you’d think it wouldn’t start at all with a faulty neutral switch as it makes circuit with side stand and clutch switch if I’m right?
Or could this intermittently drop off

Is the neutral light working ?
I don't think it would be the problem but shouldn't rule out the obvious. Maybe trying starting it with the stand up and clutch in.
