What you need to ask yourself is would you have the confidence to push your bike to the limits knowing you have holes in your tyres that have been sealed with some kind of liquid! Proven product or not I wouldn't feel confident knowing that! Your tyres are your lifeline and the only thing keeping you upright or at full lean with excessive loads! I've got 100% trust in my tyres, if I do get a puncture that's within the parameters of being repaired that's the only safest option in my eyes.
Yes that's where I came from too. I was impressed by their claim to be TUV approved to 300kph though. I'm always sceptical, that's why I asked the question, but nonetheless new techniques and methods do revolutionise old technologies. It's certainly not in the tyre manufacturers' interests to approve of sealants, (unless they own the sealant manufacture!). Being frank, I'm not sure I'd trust traction electronics on bikes anymore than sealants.
Yeh I agree products and technology does move on but it's still a risk, you also have to ask yourself how it effects the inside carcass of the tyre? I've used Stans liquid in my mountain bike and that's the same kind of thing but it does dry out rendering it useless unles you keep it topped up. I'm still not convinced
