Having witnessed an attempted bike jacking on Saturday this weekend (which failed thankfully) my P&J was taken on Sunday night.

It's currently wearing black and red Chinese fairings.

I don't expect to see her again :(
But my big concern right now is if I'll ever be able to get insurance for another - it was hard enough with just one theft on my record.

Very sorry for you, I can't believe how bad things are in London. Awful!

Those fairings are I suspect a one off paint job by slick fairings so keep your eyes peeled folks.

Thanks! It normally lives in the garage with a ground anchor monitored by cctv. It was on the road outside my parents place with a disc lock as I was staying the night at theirs. Can't drop your guard for a second it seems. :(

Mate, you have my sympathy. not that it does you any good when I know you'd rather have a baseball bat and the scum that stole her!
I know exactly how you feel as I had mine stolen at the start of this year, the bad news is the vermin Insurance will Butt F**k you now and hike your premium I'm afraid. I decided to change to a non super bike for a while and went for a Africa Twin. I love the bike but to be honest I still don't understand why my premium went up...I DIDNT NICK IT MYSELF!!

Thanks for all the well-wishing and for keeping an eye out!

No news, so guess is that it's in a container headed to another part of the world.
Would be a little nuts to be riding it around with that unique fairing.
Docs are with insurers now and I'm waiting to see how much the sting is going to be. Excess will be £1200! So already stinging. Will post more when I've haggled with them.
