I have just been asked by my new neighbour if i was going to Bikefest on Sunday (28th)? I stared at him blankly like he was from Jupiter! Bike what?? I am not from Essex originally and had never heard of it. I wondered if any of you lovely peeps had heard of it, had been before or was going? Apparently despite lack of web info, its a top day with drag races, classics, bikesafe, run what your brung etc. any info or experiences would be appreciated? posted the couple of links i found. went to a 'bikefest' a couple of years ago and entered the rwyb ... complete rip off ... only got a few runs (about 4 or 5), on the normal rwyb days that year you were getting over 20 runs.. and the normal days were cheaper too vowed never to do a bikefest event again couple of mates went to the last two rwyb and due to the number of cars there the organisers ran 30 cars to 10 bikes, bikes they spent some of the day queuing and only got a handful of runs (about 4-5.. working out the cost per mile made them cry ..lol ) .. they said they aren't going to bother again
If I'd of know about this before now I might of gone. Bit pricey just to have a look. joined their FB page so can keep up with what's going on over there. Ozz
