I won't disagree with you at all there Mel, but I would like to put a word in for the Fox Extremely Chocolatey Chunky Cookies. As a Chocolate Hob Nob man of some long standing now my introduction to the FECCC was somewhat of a revelation to me and any comparison to the aforementioned Hob Nob was like standing me next to Benn.

    And I'm a short arse.

You only get 8 in a packet and I think this is because if you eat 9 you will probably puke and because once you open a packet it's extremely difficult to put it down I believe this is a brilliant safety feature built in by Fox's

I used to love bourbon creams, but I obviously have an anger problem .. I have to eat them by twisting off the top biscuit, exposing the chocolate cream to be licked off, but the top biscuit always breaks leaving crunchy stuff stuck to the cream!!!! The biscuit then gets sworn at and thrown at the dog, who is usually grateful Grrrrrr :D

    O......ka.....y, Mel.

May I suggest you try Orioles then. Being circular, the torque you apply while twisting the top off is distributed evenly around the circumference so there's less chance of a catastrophic integrity failure. With the Bourbon, as with the Custard Cream, the torque creates stress fractures along the plane centre point.

Bugger me, it is Oreo's isn't it! I've been eating them for years and never read the bloody packet. I thought they were orioles like the bird.

Unlike you, I am on the Jack. It's been a busy day.
