Got to be clear , wouldn't look right spoiling the white with black. I had black on my black 09 and loved them , apart from the scuffing on my leathers where you grip the stomps .
having just bought a Stomp Grip to replace the Gripster tank grips which I thought have been crap to be hoist compared to Stomp grips. only had them 6 months and replacing them already
I'm sorry but I just think that stomp grips look crap. Really spoils the clean looks. I understand that there may be benefits but never felt the need myself. How are they to remove cause there was a nice 09 in my local dealer, but had them fitted so I moved along? Reminds me of woodchip on the walls.
I agree they aint the prettiest of upgrades, but they serve a purpose and make riding more controllable. I also have a problem with a numb right hand thumb which I believe is because I'm gripping to tight possibly on the throttle, I thought Stomps might help me take the weight off a little?
Love this forum, went to work on my 954 today (lovely weather and great ride), and i have been thinking of trying to take the weight a bit off my wrists.... can these stomp grips really work.... oh and i would go for clear. Regarding the look of them... ok i would prefer not to have them, but i want my bike to be the very best it can be.... I.E when it comes to riding it, not just looking at it !
I have used them for years when I rode my new blade back without them massive difference i hated it they work especially braking hold you up take the strain on track banked over use them to grip your outer leg to get over the bike a bit more or when you have a quick right then left i rate them
Sounds like it's something I should try.. What make of grips & where might I get some? Clear looks good on the HRC.
