I swear I'm destined to never find another comfortable helmet again Last week my Airoh GP500 was delivered and it was totally the wrong internal shape so I sent it back. Sighed and bit the bullet and ordered another Arai. A Quantum ST this time. Here's the rub. My head actually measures 59cm round which is obviously a large. When I got fitted for my last Arai though the guy said that was too big for me and that I should get a medium. He was right. That fitted like a glove. However this new Quantum's arrived, also in a size medium and it feels huge. I can rock the thing back and forth on my head. Has anyone else ever had to go down 2 sizes from their measured head size in order to get a lid to fit???
I had a arai that felt big and arai sent me the just bigger cheek parts that made it feel really snug felt fine until I wrote it off at pembrey . My gp tech and my HJC carbon both mediums and fit really nice my arai was large 2 others medium I'm around a 58
I always go to a shop and try different sizes on first, you can always buy off the net then if you prefer? Then know it fits
Definitely take your aria to your local DNA centre and get the pads to fit your noggin! then you've got the best that fits...ta dahh!
I always buy the one I have tried on, I know that won't help much but hey it may be useful for the future
