Interesting that the XR gets "Vibration-free handlebars for a further increase in comfort." I came close to buying one but vibration through the bars was very bad on the one I tried.
I think a 2017 S1000XR may be for me - haven't ridden one yet but i have been on the S1000RR which I really liked. Seems the vibration issue is present on some older models but not all - but they reckon they've sorted it for 2017 - will see what the reviews say and sort a test ride out in March/April/May :-( Only thing is I dunno if I can let my 2009 Repsol go - it's still fab and only 18K on it!
