Had my Sidi Vertigo Airs for 7 years now,so comfortable and great protection. In hindsight I shouldn't have got white ones tho as they're looking a bit weathered:(

I've got some old Sidi's that I've had for a few years now and as much as I like them they just aren't as good or as comfy as my Alpinestars SMX-plus.

One thing not many people seem to think of when choosing boots is the protection they offer more of if they are comfy and how they look which is fair enough.

I came of at Oulton Park the other week and broke my ankle in 3 places so am in plaster for 6 weeks:( I was wearing Sidi Vertigo the lady in the fracture clinic said it was the cleanest break she had seen for a high Inpact break so the boots did help as normally with high impact breaks the bones can get messed up , I also own a pair of Sidi Vortice which people have mentioned are a pain to put on which they are, but that said I do believe they would of saved my ankle from breaking as they do have very good protection and I will be wearing them in future .

Just something for people to take in to account when getting boots,:)

I agree with what you are saying Jase, however boots also have to be usable as well. Most/Many track boots wouldn't work if you have to do any amount of walking, say on a ride Skeggy etc. Sometimes there does need to be a compromise.
