Couldn't sit in the showroom anymore staring at the bikes, didn't get the planned demo ride yesterday but thought sod it and sorted a deal out on one, deposit paid, just got a couple of things to sort and should be ready to go next weekend.......can't wait.
It's a great feeling when you get the keys of your new bike mate. I went with my mate today to pick up his new ride, and even that was great to see. Especially when he rolled it out. He just about managed to stop the impending child like smile in front of everyone. Almost
Its great handing a new bike over 99% of the time....handed over a 2009 very tricked up Repsol blade today to a guy who lives near me.....funnily enough it was then I sorted mine out too!!! Have to say if you ever think its hard trying to get a deal from a dealer, or get them to budge....you want to try getting a deal when you work there!!
Congratulations! Look forward to seeing another Blade hooning round Clevedon. What colour have you gone for?
Good enjoy what little good weather we have left. Side not , keep an eye on chain stretch as my 3 week / 650 mile mile one is getting its chain replaced under warranty. Mechanic in the garage as much as said the chains are shit. Was in dropping it off yesterday and the salesman told me Honda have done a recall on I think its the NC things for chains.
Some NCs were supplied with a non-branded chain not DID ones...not all of them though. My company bike was ok, the demo DCT was ok, a showroom S needed it changed. Gone for a black & red 09 plate The final push for me was when aguy and his other half came in and started poring all over it then started to try and get on it in the showroom...both of them....I had a moment...... followed by a slowmo leap across the showroom with a Sold sticker
2 more sleeps (as my kids keep telling me)....and a logistical nightmare organising the getting home of bikes...and it'll be F-day
