Box hill, Newlands corner

Anyone out next weekend (14.04.13)?
Going for a ride to Boxhill and Newlands corner, I will be with the mrs, so a comfortable ride.
Anyone down that way? Could go for a ride somewhere else.

 

Use to go to Boxhill & Newlands corner loads, here's one of the route we rode;

It has a good mixture of roads, slow, fast, smooth, hump backs, open and wooded sections.

 

Gets er in doors out for the day. She likes going on the bike, but not keen on long rides, so box is ideal for her.

 

Must switch "dirty mind mode" off as that reads quite funny

The route is a nice one with different scenery to look at for the other-half, far better then just going through Dorking.

The burgers are also far better at Newlands Corner as well.

Eastbourne, moved here 2 years ago from South London.

Still don't know all the places around here so i used Google maps, not far away, only 30miles.

I'll keep an eye out for any local rides.

 

The weather is meant to be good that weekend, but we are in England.

 

If everyone's meeting up first for a ride, can I tag along? I'll take the other half out Saturday instead.

 

james, brian off here should be out, del with the K6 says hes coming and I will see if any of the usual crowd wanna get out
