So what does happen there on a Sunday? Havn't been there for 12 yrs, used to be a regular in the 80's.

Is it still a meet point on a Sunday or has it died?

Still busy on a decent Sunday.
Not much happens anymore due to the rozzers apart from tea and chat.

still fairly busy all the time mate (and mental busy on a sunny sunday)... a lot of variety in terms of bikes, most standing around talking about riding and not actually riding! we use it as a meeting point, quick cuppa then off to wherever - Rye / portsmouth / loomies etc... or as a final stop at the end of the day before we all head home...

A few of us go up there now and again, last time was for a charity ride out and was a pretty good turnout :)

I quite often go to loomies, they have a bike night on a Wednesday but quite a few bikes most sunny days :)
If you decide to go through basingstoke to get there give me a shout + the basingstoke to Alton road is fantastic :D
