    Afternoon all.

I'm going to do the braided brake lines thing this year and was wondering if you could give me some pointers as to whether I should go for the over-mudguard or 2 lines from the MC setup?

Which is easier to install etc.

All looks really, both equally easy to fit if your happy bleeding the system after, personally I like the look of the race lines over OE but can see why people want to keep it neat and use the existing clamps.

I recently got some Hel lines from Arthur and they were great quality :)

    Hi Rich
When I fitted my braided lines I copied the way the original lines went, ie: one to r/h caliper then over the mudguard to l/h side.
However I found the lever was rubbish and a pain to bleed them up.
So I changed the setup to individual lines to each side from MC and they bled up great and a nice firm lever.

As a side note there is a hydraulics firm called Northern Hose and Hydraulics on canon park that make M/C braided lines to order if you ever need a one off line.

Cheers Tom. I was thinking the same. I'd heard that the over the mudguard setup was a little more difficult to bleed. I think I'll just get the 2 line setup.

I know Northern H&H. I've sold tube to them in the past. I didn't know that they made brake lines though!

I reckon I'll just get some HEL ones as they do them in pretty colours :D

Go for two front lines! You get a much better feel at the lever

Depends if ur Bike is an ABS or not OP?

If ABS you have to stick with one line from the MC

It's fine. It's an RR4 so no ABS.

I went for HEL, 2 front lines. They were awful to bleed but once done not too bad.
