It's late and i'm tired but are brake calipers classed as sprung or unsprung weight?

Also does anyone who has just bought brembo m4's know how much they weigh with pads?

    Thanks

Brembo tech sheet shows the m4 series as 1000g inc pads not sure if thats per side or not but guessing it is.

Bikehps lists the hpk range coming in at:-
Weight per caliper and bracket - including pads: 1298g

And calipers and wheels are both unsprung weight!

Everything on a Bike that's 'cushioned' by the suspension is 'Sprung' weight.

Everything not 'cushioned' by the suspension is 'unsprung', i.e Fork leg bottoms, Swingarms, Calipers, Wheels, Discs, Tyres, Mudguards/Huggers some of the Brake lines etc etc etc
