My front brakes need rebuilding and i don't like the faded black look. Has anyone replaced the standard tokico calipers with something else? If so what and is it expensive?

Might just get the bf to rebuild them, can't decide!

Brembo have a range of suitable 108mm fitment calipers. M4 are the most common however I believe you can use the newer gp4rs or the jazzy gp4rr to name a few.

    HEL have their own now.

Accossato are another brand offering calipers too.

Brembo M4s come up 2nd hand on ebay now and then for not too much money. Won't be too bad new either if you wait for a 10-20% sale somewhere.

Have them powder coated whilst in bits, I had some done and they came up mint and cost next to nothing.

Or get them Cerakoted. There’s a fella on the fireblade Facebook groups that rebuilds and refreshes them

TBH, i hadnt thought of coating them. We did the brakes on the astra and they look spot on. We sprayed them while we were refurbishing them

Like already said above get them Cerakoted
They’ll come up like new. Check out South Wales Cerakote coatings on Facebook. Had some bits done and are really nice.
