Guys, Is there a rule of thumb with regards to changing front discs, like there is on a car?? (Only as car ones come as a pair normally) One of my discs has a slight warp to it, picked up on its recent MOT, causing brake judder, and I was wondering, whether, I could just change the one side or whether both will need to be done, to keep things equal. I couldn't find anything on a search, just am putting it out here Ta EBR...
Get yourself a DTI and find the high spot with the wooden hammer shaft, tap the disc spider until it dials to within 0.15. I laughed when I was told to do it, so bought some discs and before I took the wheel off, I tried it on the warped disc and FM, it worked!!
