Looking at replacing the OEM pads on the Blade after 3.5K with maybe something from the SBS range? I know all about the benefits of Dual Carbon pads etc for Track use but not much about road pads. My Blades only been on Track once and is now purely a 'Sports Tourer' with the odd blat in to North Wales. Not bothered about longevity but would like sumat with more 'bite' than OEM but they still need to work well in the rain with little heat in em? Ta in advance!
I found the EBC double H pads good had them on my blade when it was a road bike then trackbike but still worked well in all weathers .
Same as, based on your recommendation dude. Got SBS dual carbon on the RRA- awesome but need to get heat In them like said. SBS sintered in the 929, great for road use IMO and were also good on a track day.
SBS dual carbon now on blade for track which as you run the same on your Kwak you know how good they are must admit on my other bike ??? Have no idea what pads are on it so no help there.
Strange one this ! I am usually a fan of after market pads and have had my fair share of EBC ?...SBS and Bembro and what I found with my Blade was that the OEM from Honda where just as good which was disappointing as one would expect a proper good bite every time which just didn't happen especially the £60.00 red Bembro .
Personally I like the standard Honda pads, tried EBC's once and hated them in the wet, but a mate suggested Ferodo race pads which I tried in my 04 bike gave that extra bite, and still worked well in the wet. Alas as they are more expensive than Honda ones I went back to standard.
