I have always been a big fan of the sintered EBC pads on my bike so have been thinking
of changing the blades pads as having brembo's on the last bike has spoilt me slightly
and I feel the brakes are nowhere near good enough on the blade.so nipped into the
local bike shop today and was having a chat with my racing buddy about how much the
EBC/Carbone Lorraine/SBS pads are and he told me the majority of the of the Irish supersport
and superbike guys are using dunlop pad's and they are all raving about how good they are.
so wondering what pads other guys use and any DP pad users have their view on them?

Had them all but not the calipers and they dont seem to give you what you expect ie feels to me like like 15% more bite if that .I didn't know Dunlop did them so that interesting .

I don't know what pads were in the bike when I bought it but whatever they were I replaced them with SBS and they're much better. Much more initial bite and better feel. Perfectly adequate for my needs. When it comes time to replace again I'll be buying SBS again.

I've just finished off a set of sbs pads, lasted 4 tackdays and a few thousand road miles. Can't really fault them but I've got a set of xbk5's to try now.

SBS. The only pad to use. Give us a shout for a deal.

    Cheers

Might be a daft question but...

do aftermarket pads make a difference over OE on an ABS Blade?

OEM work fine for me to be honest so stuck with them, blade brakes are far better than any of my other bikes have been

They are okay but could be a lot better.
Rear brake is usless and for slight speed
Corrections I find it still takes a lot of pressure.
Where are you at jonny ?
