What are people using on the blades?

The OE pads are nearly shot after 10k miles ... I've always used SBS RS pads but wondered if should use something else?

Also if changing pad brand / type do you clean the discs to allow correct brake pad transfer from new pads?

Just ordered some more OE pads myself, was quite impressed with them and not a bad price so why not!

I've got enough material left to do this year hopefully but will replace with OE pads as happy with them.

I've used Brembo SC pads before and went back to OE which I thought worked just as well and were much cheaper! I'll be trying SBS RS next as I've heard good reviews and they were cheaper than OE. When I change pad make i usually give the discs a quick clean and wipe over with brake cleaner.

SBS road have a little more bite than OEM, cheaper too... but I think life wise you will get more mileage out of OEM due to the superior bonding to the metal backing plates. IMO you could run the OEMs almost to the metal where SBS you deffo can not!
