Has anyone replaced their bikes Tokicos calipers with those from a Suzuki GSXr? Were there any disadvantage/advantages to the swop and what additional modifications were needed - eg longer lines different pitch banjo bolts? Thanks!
The brembos on a gsxr aren’t a full fat brembo (if that makes sense?) You’d be better off with braided lines new fluid and a better pad. Or the real brembo m4
OK I have braided lines full of Motul rbf600 fluid, series oro discs and brembo red pads in the Tokicos. I thought it would finish it off with Brembo calipers. I honestly don't ride that fast to make best use of M4s I
They aren’t the proper brembos so I would personally stick with what you have. You seem to also have gone the opposite order with discs, pads, racing fluid, but no mention of the biggest gain, an upgraded master cylinder? Sorry to piss on yer chips so to speak, just an observation
The discs were knackered and the lines had already been fitted. The master cylinder was rebuilt by me!
I've up graded my 08 brakes. Brembo rcs master, braided lines, sc brembo pads, hpk discs and vented pistons. They are some of the best brakes I've ever had on a motor bike.
