I have the oppertunity to purchase brembo calipers , they are 108mm 4 pot off a gsxr600 L1 , Would you guys recommend these over the stock tokico 2008 calipers on my bike now? I dont believe they are brembo m4’s ? Can anyone help ?? Thanks in advance
m50 are the new m4, if they are m50, do they seem new only come out other month, u'd think they where better then stock
Well they are coming of a suzuki gsxr600 L1 , which did 5k miles .. so dont think it can be them ? I think suzuki added brembo as standard few years back
Will they mount into the same fixings without modification? I think I read about having to machine part of the mounting lugs - if it was this particular set. Just something to check on before purchase.
Don’t get them. Not true m4s non of the Suzuki brembos as good as the actual brembos bought seperatly. They make them to a certain spec as per manufacturer. You will see loads on eBay. They just oe stuff hence why they go for couple hundred compared to m4 £4-500. Even the Honda SP m4s are different to m4s off the shelf Your standard nissans would be a lot better than these put the money in a Brembo master cylinder instead or get the gp4 calipers they amazing big step up from the now mainstream m4s M50 are 100mm only aswell going from what I read. The new m4s for 108mm are the gp4 calipers
Gp4rs is the new step up from the m4 in 108 fitment. Few hundred extra over the m4 and look similar to the m50. Rcs19, braided lines and m4 callipers and I had the back wheel off the floor with 1 finger on its first outing with this setup. I'm using rcs Corsa corta now and would advise anyone to just buy the normal rcs19.
