Some of you may remember I have been working on getting a new design Brembo clutch lever and perch as the existing one doesn't really give the correct amount of pull on the cable, making it hard to set free play. It has taken almost 5 months, but the the modified set up should be with me next week. As I no longer have my Blade and it won't fit my Rc8 I will be offering it up for sale. It has 34mm centres between the pivot and cable point which is the same as the blades dimensions. This will make it a better setup than the previous one. Once it's here I will post a photo or two and see if anyone is interested. These are £150 from Harris performance, but I will sell it for £100.
Finally I wandered about this the other day ! Will they be doing a fireblade version from now on ? Obviously I sold mine as well but it was a beautiful bit of kit flawed by a bad design, would be good to see it available for the boys and girls on here
For those interested the clutch RCS has been copied by fake companies and this was written by Brembo. 110A26300 is not a Brembo part, it is a fake part. Who sells this part is frauding customers and will be suited to a court. NOTE this has nothing to do with Steves part just info for others buying other RCS clutchs.
I think the get out Arthur is that they state Brembo RCS "type". A bit contentious I know but they seem to get away with it. When I initially tried to find out where to get it I phoned Brembo and they seemed to know others were making it.
Brembo do make them I got spares from Brembo importer modeperformance I spoke to Ian who was very helpful will PM his number
J, it is Ian i dealt with at Mode. I could be wrong, but i do not think these are genuine brembo parts. The quality is awesome though. Brembo charge the same for the clutch lever as Harris do for the lever and perch.
Oh ok I had no idea, but as said Quality was spot on and he managed to get me a clutch switch no probs for it, bought mine of the bay
