I need to buy a new brake pads for my bike. I was thinking of getting some of Brembo products. I have never used any of these pads before. I have a Brembo RCS master cylinder, 08 Blade monoblocks, braided lines but standard Honda discs. I mostly do trackdays (intermediat/fast) and when I use public roads I dont ride aggressively. The question is: would I be able to use the full potential of RCs compound not having floating disc and not being that super fast yet, or should I just settle down for SC which still are good pads but not that completely track orientated. Thanks for any suggestions.
I hear standard Honda pads are the ones to use. Next up is performance friction but they are expensive
Brembo RC and SC are performance pads. Price isnt really a matter. I just dont know if RC wouldnt be to much for intermediate track rider as myself. I think it could difficult to get them to optimum working temperature if your are not going fast enough.
I use Brembo SC pads on my 06 blade for fast road an trackdays Great pads work well from cold . EBC HH pads are also very good .
