When switching between the RRA and the 929 I can't but help noticing how the 929 brakes feel.

I've already fitted Hel lines to it and am now thinking of upgrading the MC. Appreciate any advice on a unit that's suitable to replace the oem unit with and If possible what bike they are fitted on.

    Cheers

The 07 08 R1 has a good radial master cylinder fitted to it , it is made by brembo , i put one on a fazer 1000 i had and it improved the brakes no end , i think the same master cylinder is on the 06 07 R6 I will try get the part number , also the red backed brembo pads will make a difference too , I have brembo road & race silver backed ones on the blade with a brembo RCS ms and the brakes o it are awsome!!!!

Brembo 19 RCS M/C is the way to go and with the euro down and free delivery CapriMoto is the place to go :)

I love mine to bits its a gradual feel, which gives more control and feedback from my point of view, the Std M/C is not bad but once you use the Brembo unit it really opens your eyes, as they force there way out your sockets lol

The part number for the Brembo radial master cylinder thats fitted to the 08 R1 as standard is 5SL-W2587-00-00
You should be able to find one on ebay , this is a cheaper option then going for the RCS
