Swapping out my standard front Pads for Brembo's Carbon Ceramic Race compounds on my 2010 ZX10R Tracker.

Do I need to use the metal backing plates off the standard pads on the Brembo pads or can they go in 'as is' ?

they can go on as are, but they rattle a bit around, had them off on my brembo monoblocks and noticed a noise when braking, was sh*tting myself thinking somethings gonna come off soon, until a mate of mine told me it was because the plates weren't on the pads, put them on and the noise was gone, so were my dirty boxershorts :D :D
what brembo pads are you getting?? the Z04? expensive but bloody good!!

don't thinnk they are the Z04 pads, too cheap to be them, I think I pay something like 100£ per side , but brake beautifully and last a few days...

Motorcycle Race Parts> Home - Motorcycle Parts UK | Arrow Exhausts | Arrow Silencers | Chain & Sprocket Kits - Renthal > BRAKES > Brembo Brake Pads > Brembo Z04 Front Brake Pads [P4 32/36 Caliper]

the most important thing I think about pads are if you have a good feeling with them and the fit your budget.....

At the moment I'm using lucas pads, only because they go on for ages and we race endurance 8hrs here and it's the only pad I've used that last the 8hrs........ Carbon lorraine C59 are great as well
