Fitted a brand new RCS master cylinder and new HEL lines over the weekend.
Started to bleed the system tonight, started at the mc then each caliper. Fluid came through ok and doesn't seem to have any air bubbles in the tube.
I still can't get decent pressure and the lever, there is pressure there but right at the bottom of the travel.
Had to stop as the lighting in my garage is shit.
I'm using on of those one way bleed valves.
My mates coming around tomorrow with a large syringe so I'll try back bleeding, any other ideas?
I've had RCS m/c on other bike before and they've been brilliant

First of all make sure you have no leaks and its not drawing in air in from a banjo seal, make sure your span adjuster is set to max span as it will use the full stroke of the piston, use the syringe to draw the fluid down from the callipers starting from the furthest away then repeat with oppose side, then finish off with hand bleed as per normal, if you still have bad pressure go back to the top MC and hand bleed once more. You can also try the cable tie with the lever compressed overnight! But I'm sure the first option will sort it.

    Cheers mate, all sorted.

No leaks and everything tight. Had a mate help me tonight.

Span adjuster was right in, so I re bled the M/C then each caliber, then the M/C again and was so much better. I have tied the lever to the bar overnight just to see if it makes a difference.

As soon as i let out the span adjuster so much more fluid came through. I would never have thought of that.

No idea but I've read it on various forums over the years.
    Nothing to lose.

forces any air in the MC to the reservoir air gap I believe

tying the lever to the bar will pressurise the system and close the port to the master cylinder reservoir, it will do nothing, the overnight wait may allow bubbles to rise in the system which will then find their way back into the reservoir
