Any tips from the those that have fitted one of these?

I have bought the HEL twin banjo bolt and a litre of fluid, anything else i need before i start?

Noticed the master has a bleed nipple on the unit itself, is there a sequence to follow for bleeding ie right caliper>left caliper>master?

Would love to be adding some m4 calipers and new HEL lines (current ones look shite after only 4k) but cant justify £500 on the bike atm :(

    Cheers.

Bleed the master cylinder first then the furthest brake calipers.
Always better with another pair if hands.

If you have one of those one way valve bleed things then that would help.

Once your happy just check everything is nipped up

As above bleed the Mc first then the lines! Leave over night with a cable tie pulling the lever back to get rid of any more air in the lines

Make sure you have the lever fitted where it's comfy, I made these mistake of bleeding it all up then I needed to move it. Then I found the banjo hit the fork tube do I had to undo it all move the lines round a bit then re bleed.
How are you mounting the reservoir, I bought a different coupling from Carpimoto.

I've fitted the HRC tube, fairly simple after the air box is off. Loosen the cables at the throttle bodies then you'll be fine

Im ok getting the airbox off, I just struggle with the air intake rubbers when getting it back together.

Looking forward to it being done though, got a -1 +1 sprocket combo to go with it so should wake it up a little :D

Just a tip, when bleeding your brakes after everything is fitted. The master sylinder bleed takes some pumps before there is actual fluid comming out. I thought i did something wrong the first time, because nothing came out of the bleed valve. After a while brake fluid will come out there, just keep doing it until it comes.

Yes it will fit but you might need a different clip for the hose to attach to the mc! I used a small hose clip

As sps says you can use any reservoir pot, i just bought the one with all the kit but should really have bought just the unit and used the oem pot with ladybird bracket.
