My bike came with the PROs which seem fine. Plenty of reviews online - e.g. Bridgestone BT016 Pro Launch | the online tyre guide As it says in review the PRO are supposed to last longer, so for that reason alone probably worth the extra £25?

    Cheers,

    Ian.

From my memory the PROs are a new version of the non-PROs. The non-PROs are probably quite old now - I'd check the date of manufacture before spending my cash but I'm no expert at all...

The bt 16 was the tyre fitted to bikes fresh out of the show room and the bt 16 pro is the updated aftermarket tyre, it is a little better but neither will give great millage

    Bridgestone BT16 Pro OR BT16 ?

    Neither!

Mich PR3's, Dun Sportsmarts or Metz Sportec M5's

Having used Bt016, 14 and 15 I would not be buying Bridgestones as there are many many better tires out there which have been suggested.

I rate highly Sunlop Sportsmarys, currenly trying Dunlop D211 GP's and will be going to the Supercorsa's next. I enjoy trying different tires makes so I can have a good idea at my choices which work well for me

I won't ever have BT014,015,016 or 016 Pros again they are great when new but lose grip fast when they start wearing out.

I've had BT023 fitted to my blade and think they are better than the 14,15,16 or 16pros.

And they are lasting a lot longer.

Never had any problems with Bridgestones had Bt016 and 016 pro's on my Gsxr 1000's loads of grip wet and dry decent mileage about 4k out of a rear and have 015's OEM currently fitted to my blade , two rears and one front from new current mileage 7800,but they've just about had it having a pair of 016 pro's fitted tomorrow £216 supplied and fitted at home:).

Just been out to scrub em in,the oe 015's must have been absolutely f@?:ed even though they didn't look too bad to my eye's anyway,it rode like a different bike ,now I had these(016 pro's) on my last bike a K6 GSXR 1000 and really liked them loads of feel and grip then got the Blade and just put the feeling down to it being a different bike ,last 4 bikes have all been Gsxr 1000's,but having had these fitted yesterday I have to say wow what a difference it's made, gonna take it to Alpha to have the suspension set up to my weight (14st 11 lb in full kit) in the next couple of weeks and see if that makes a brilliant bike any better:)
