Hi, I have bridgestone t30 tyres fitted to my blade and am a bit nervous about using them on track as they are sport touring tyre. Have seen all the pr stuff on the internet but was just wondering if anybody has actually used them on track and what you think of them.
They use them every race school day round donnington in Ron Haslams race school, you need to be really really on fast pace to overwhelm them mate.
Haven't used these tyres myself, but wouldn't worry about them being a touring tyre unless your super quick. Here's PR4 on Jimbo's R1 I rode at cadwell and snet And a very worn PR3 on my 929 at Silverstone
Thanks for the replies, not as worried now as I would be a border line intermediate rider and probably won't get anywhere near the performance of the tyres.
I ran T30's at a warm and sunny Anglesey - a month later I am getting lots of comments about the tyres due to how they look at the edges - Will try and post a pic up but I would not worry - my T30 is actually off Ron Haslam's bike from the race school, its been to Spain touring and done Oulton and Angelsey and still has loads of life left in it - not bad for a £50 tyre!
