    Hi all,

Does anyone one know how to get on to Bruntingthorpe for a trackday?

I've looked at the site & also the usual TD suppliers but can't find anything that simply says "choose date, pay money & GO!"

Are TD's at Bruntingthorpe even possible or do you have to be part of a club/organisation?

    Any advise is appreciated

Never seen any trackday companies offering Bruntingthorpe as an option. Not the most exciting layout either, more of a top speed test track.

Cheers mate, I didn't think there was any available. My brother wants to do a TD next year but doesn't want to bin a brand new bike, so when he spotted Bruntingthorpe he thought it was the best option & would let him max out the bike safely. I guess he'll just have to man up & go to Cadwell :D

I did one in my car with a company called V-max200, run by a very nice guy called Craig.

Not sure if they allow bikes, but there are several videos of a very tuned 911 turbo, and I do mean very tuned :D going up against bikes on the runway, so they must have some association with someone, might be worth a message.

But as said above, it is more a top speed 'track' with a few turns on the way back.

cheers mate I'll drop him a message & see what he says. I think its the 2 miles straight that's so appealing to my bro, running his zx14 flat out gives him.....goosebumps

Yes, it is about that, and the straight comes off a wide bend that in a car you can be doing 70-80 going on to the straight.

I got 190 out of my slightly modified 911 Turbo into quite a strong headwind which was knocking about 10mph off of cars that had been there previously, very good fun.
