Does anybody know how to create one? When I use my usual bt login & password I get emails etc no problems. But now I can't view my bill. When I try to create an ID , I get a message saying account already in use. I tried on line chat with bt.…..complete waste of time! Does one need 2 bt email accounts?
I have BT but only one login. Without being too technical, sometimes the computer's or device's 'cache' seems to confuse some logins. Go to setting on computer and device and clear cache. This will mean that with some automatic logins you will have to re-enter passwords etc, but should get you into BT. If that fails you might have to start again by clicking: 'forgot login details'. Login is always your email address.
I use Google Chrome, but others should be similar. On top right hand corner there will be a drop down menu, perhpaps 3 dots. On there you will see 'Tools' or 'More Tools'. Click that and there will be a tab that says 'clear browsing data'. Before doing that though, try again to log in, even trying the forgotten password method first.

There is an option to retrieve a lost ID, think you will need your account number as part of the process, and the password. Forget online chat, you'll end up with Dave in Bangalore who knows nothing, won't understand what you wanr, and be as much use a c-abs. Ring them and keep going until you get a real Dave/Davina.
