ah dude.. really sorry to hear this mate. sounds like he took quite a hit, but atleast he survived the ordeal. Although it takes time bones do mend and the bike can always be replaced. Lets just hope he can ride again in the future, seemed like a top lad when I met you guys. Thoughts are with him wedge

Shit that's bad. The dropping sun in the early evening can be very dodgy, when it blinds you, you can't see a damn thing. I gave up a ride part way because i couldn't see and ended up riding home one handed, covering up the sun with my left hand, not ideal.
Wish him a speedy recovery from all of us.

Wishing the lad a speedy recovery .At this time of year it's very easy to have this happen and for a moment you might as well have a blindfold on I would say this situation is far worse than any fog.

tell him chin up mate, years ago i had the mumps, big balls, our local vicar paid me a visit (ex army padre) he was bloody funny, i asked him to "have a word" as i wanted a dick to match me balls. he use to play darts in the local pub, and he use to get closer to the board until one day we lifted up his skirt, to see he was well over the line.bloody cheat, but a dam good respected man.

That's bad news. I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.
I had that the other week. The sun blinded me and by the time I could see again the straight was coming rapidly to an end. Made it through by the skin of my teeth.
