Want a good quality action camera but not too keen on paying the big money for GoPro, Drift etc. Has anyone got experience of the SJ4000, Mobius or Contour Roam? I've looked at the reviews and they all seem to do a good job for a lot less than the big names. Cheers guys
The older Sony Action Cams are supposed to be pretty good (according to reviews), great specs and prices are tumbling... a good second hand Go pro or Drift...... the early ones are just perfect unless you want the additions of latest spec......
I ain't got one but if I were getting one it would prob be a drift or this möbius thing due to the size, at the minute one of these is bottom of my list. My mate sent me this link of the möbius and it looks **** hot apart from no LCD screen but for the money , awesome. Watch the vid it's a bit long tho but well worth the watch Mobius Camera - The 1080p Action Cam, Dash-Cam, Anything Cam - Full review (with samples). - YouTube Steve
the GoPro with viewing from your mobile, wifi remote etc. really is very good, you are buying into a VERY well established system, with new mounts being added all the time by 3rd party folk - and also the size has reduced of the camera now by a fair bit. Drift shape / quality is good - but editing is where you really turn 'footage' into something really epic / watchable - I think most folk have a watch time / boredom threshold of around 2 mins of raw footage
Got one of the aldi cameras yesterday to try. I remember a while ago there was a thread about a mounting kit for the cameras , can anyone remember it and put a link up please ? Thanks.
