I'm in the market for a new flip front lid (useful if you wear spec's) and would like to try one of these. Has anyone used one? Does anybody know of a shop likely to have them in stock? Cheers, Nick.
No expert on this one, shipmate. A lot of police seem to wear the Caberg. The xr1100 and some Sharks are supposed to be good for spec wearers, shipmate.
They're a bit pricier Nicko but my work lid is a schuberth c3, and its a Gucci bit of kit. Very quiet, love the drop down visor system which is easy to do on the move unlike the shoei system. If you're after a bargain though the caberg trip is cheaper and gets a five star sharp rating, , I think it's got a bit of a jet fighter star warsy look about it. Air pump lining on the modus is a bit of a faff in my opinion, got it on my tcx boots and don't like it! And you can buy the caberg just speak Bluetooth kit for the lid as well and still spend less than a modus or shoei
And this would be your closest caberg dealer I think. LEE MOTOR CYCLES, HOMEND TRADING ESTATE, LEDBURY, HEREFORDSHIRE. HR8 1AR Telephone: 01531 634475 Fax: 01531 634475 Email: [email protected] Website: Lee Motorcycles Home
. Cheers lads, I hear what your saying about the CPL Pete so I'll let it go I think. The Trip looks like a nice hat but can't seem to find one in white. Shark looks interesting LL and their Evoline Series 3 looks really cool in the 'open' position. Here's what I'm looking for:- Flip-Front, White, size M (58cm), quick release fastener and good peripheral vision. I've sold one of my bikes and a new 'lid' is top of my shopping list when the deal is closed. Nick.
