    hi all could anyone tell me if 2008 on calipers would be an upgrade for my 2006 I've heard they are mono block.i have braided lines and accossato master already just thinking is it worth it

    I've had both and there is no difference at all between the R1/R6 radial units and the TOKICO mono's from 08> blade.

    may sumitomo come with 30/27 mm pistons and tokico 32/30 ? :D
    what about braking surface ?
    may U talking about feeling
    Cause there are few differences

    just because they are monobloc doesn't meanthey are better,look at hpk'S -V- m4'S for example,or the gprx's

    They must be better otherwise they would have kept on using the 2007 calipers

    they are sure a bit better , but for normal street use U will not find out that

    they probablly are,but not because they are monoblocs as such,which you seem to think they are.i was just pointing out that just because they are mono's,doesnt make them better.
    piston sizes,materials used in the body,manufacturer process,pistons,seals etc are what make them better

    and ALL honda bikes with 4 pot radial calipers (not sp or africa twin) have same pistons and same seals btw
