Ok I was heading up to the NW200 in heavy rain, and the Rev Limiter light came on and the rev needle started to bounce up and down and generally be irratic so i pulled over turned it off and restarted it and it had stopped doing it,but i felt it is now running very rough espically around 2.5k-3.5k rpm.Now when i started it today the needle was at it again. So here is my question! is the power commander the problem or is it something else.Thoughts please!

I'm no guru, but could it be related to the fact you were riding in heavy rain, water in the works maybe??

17 blades got 100% soaked in Scotland, not one had an issue with water - I'd remove the PCV to eliminate it first - but other far more technical dudes will give better ideas.

Also what model of bike did this happen to - is it all totally dry now?

The area under the Pillion seat is subject to quite a bit of water ingress on my Blade due to there being no seal around the rear light cluster so water thrown up by the rear wheel finds it's way in far too easily.

I even had to vacumm out a load of sand which had accumulated under there after my recent Ireland trip on which there was plenty of rain soaked roads ridden! :(

Will be making a suitable seal for around the light when I have 5
