I've had my CCT changed for the OEM one but now I'm wondering if my cam chain also needs doing. 06 Fireblade with 26k miles. Doesn't feel very smooth. Can anyone advise me how to know if my cam chain needs replacing please?
iin the owners manual it would give you a measurement across a set number of links which can be measured in situ between the 2 cams. if the measurement on your cam chain exceeds the limit then new chain time. might also be worth balancing the throttle bodies as that can make things sound bad when there out of sync.
