At last invested in a quality camera after years on promising to do it. Looking for recommendations for a case to carry it whilst on the bike, bum bag style thingy. Looked on t'internet but vast choice so looking for any advice. Camera is Fujifilm Finepix S4500 if it helps you camera buffs :)

It's another one of those channel island VAT loophole places. We use them a lot for odds and sods.

The 4500 is a cracking little camera Milky. Good call.

Bridge cameras a brilliant now. A x 30 odd zoom in a dinky little camera with uncanny low light capabilities. It can take pictures in light I can't see in. I take one when ever I go abroad and can't be arsed to lug my SLR and lenses on the plane.

That rucksack is a bit big for a 4500, £18.50!

    It'd be rude not to.

I use a Tenba camera rucksack for my telescope and it's really comfy and really safe. I'm always aware of a big lump of metal and glass on my back if I was to come off but the padding is pretty reassuring.

great camera! i bought the s4000 last may took some great pics at silverstone and knockhill. bought a lowepro bag when i got it hangs over shoulder or can be looped on belt. as i said its a great camera "but" really got it for going on a luxury cruise last september. now it had been dragged round racetracks, out in hills and at bikeshows, but when it rolled of a chair on board the ship, dropped to floor (about 1ft) still in the lowepro case though, it packed up:mad:. zoom wouldnt come out, so no cruise photos with the fuji. luckily i had also taken a small casio exilim so still got some great pics. took the fuji back to jessops and they replaced it no bother. mind you i didnt tell them it had been dropped:). my step daughter does photgraphy at uni and even she was impressed with the fuji.
