Can someone help me identify the year of my engine?

    Hi guys,

    im new to the forum and have a CBR1000rr-engined kit car.

    I’ve just picked up a spare engine with the following engine number:

    SC59E - 2581300

    Can anyone help me identify the year of this engine? I believe it’s 2014-16 but I would like to know the exact year if possible?

    I believe E means 2014.

    Agree with Coda - just checked copy of logbook from the 2014 RR-E I used to own. Engine number prefix was SC59E
