    Its to give the existing members some safety and security.
    take part in some discussions they'll soon be high enough

    Yea as the zipster says really its to protect the existing members from buying stuff from someone that's unknown/untrusted for that person to just stop contact after the sale if that makes sense??

    If your looking and buying from the for sale section tho you can PM from 5 posts ;)
