Decided to finally have a go at filling the scratches on my transit this afternoon. My only question is what do I do with rest of it?

The repair has brought white colour through and so when I spray it the rest of the van will be a different shade.

Do i just buy some compound and give the rest of it a good once over?

    Thanks

Think you'll find that the brighter white is just the primer grinning through as most white cars are not that white really.

Looking at it, it still has the factory black mastic panel seal so could be original paint.

When you paint the side, just give the scratched/filled areas a coat or two first to bury the colour difference.

I'd spray them wheels first / get some trims / alloys too...

Then I'd just get the whole thing wrapped in matt black

Didn't you post an image of the movistar race van once with predictions that's how it would end up looking ?

Sprayed wheel or trims are a no no on a van IMO! Unless for pure comedy value lol...

And as much as we would all like fancy wrapped vans.... Essentials to buy I'm afraid like entry fees, tyres and beans on toast :(

Tyke, can't help on the spray though buddy.... But just patch it up, who cares as long as it gets you there ;)

I would just touch the scratches up and stick something like this on there, will be cheaper than the paint in the long run
