Hi guys was thinking of getting a pair of carbon air scoops for my 09 plate, I understand doing away with the flaps that are within the air scoops as standard, Anyone had them fitted at present:cool:

Welllll as with any race item they were not designed to fit with road gear
Sooooo the headlight was a small problem that had to be got around
    but otherwise easy.
I was concerned that I might get an error light on the dash as some items that
you junk have electrical connections .. but nope all was well.
The bottom end pick up is now a little snatchy so not as Mr Honda intended
but it doesn't bother me as I wanted a fire breathing performance bike when
i bought the Blade not a sanitized super smooth commuter scoot.

Agreed, proper racke intakes can be had for 80 quid brand new (admittedly in white) also naughty is there use of HRP, which is trademarked to Honda Racing Products in louth, part of Honda UK Racing

Well its hard to picture in yur head but the headlight was forcing the tubes out wide and I was determined to get them
fitted with the standard plastics in place

So I cut a thin slot in the carbon where they were touching the headlight allowing them to sit tighter in and all is well and
the plastics are all seated just as before
