Anybody got Carbon Frame Protectors and could make any recommendations or comments on the subject ?

I know Si has Ilmberger one's fitted on his bike and he is happy with them and he also recommends GBmoto which I believe have harder laquer which is less likely to mark but not sure if they cover the VIN number which is obviously not ideal.

All comments, advice and help welcome. Cheers

The Gb moto ones cover the Vin number Steve, thats why i went Ilmberger. After looking around, i think the Ilmberger are the only ones that aren't "full" covers.
Also, the others require you to remove all fairings to fit, the Ilmberger protectors can be fitted without removing the fairings.

Cheers for the info Si. Not worried about removing panels to be honest mate but it is a good point and makes a little simpler.

I know your happy with the ilmberger and you knows your carbon, but just a little worried as you said the laquer was a little soft or am I worrying about nothing ?

    Worrying about nothing.

I would say the Gb moto seems to have another coat of laquer in comparison to ilmberger.... and indeed it it harder. But, this doesn't mean the Ilmberger is crap.... it's not, it's fab quality.

I would go Ilmberger mate, easier to fit, and doesn't obscure ythe vin. You're welcome to see them in the flesh first before you buy some. You are not far from me.

Cheers Si might take you up on that offer to have a look at yours first. Just need to find a spare afternoon or so now which is nt easy at the moment.

Where did you get them from mate ? And were they happy to do you a good deal ?

Cheers Si, nice one mate, I appreciate the help..

I would'nt mind checking yours out first but I reckon the Ilmberger should be spot on and I know your fussy with your CF so I m sure the quailty and fit is as good as any out there.

Cheaps for the links some good info there and seems the pro fiber get good reviews.

The thing that worries me about the Ilmberger ones having soft laquer is your knees rubbing and marking it.

Made a couple of offers on those above the start price and surprised not been accepted as there only £143 new and you obviously can t send these back if there faulty.

Was hoping no one else spotted them to be honest as don t want a bidding war
