Now I've done some searching but not managed to find what I'm after even though it's been covered a lot.

I have a 2014 blade and I'd like the hrc Carbon hugger only I can't really afford/warrant the £275 for a new one. I know they changed the rear shock on the 2012 so the original hugger made for 08-11 doesn't quite fit, the newer huggers are the same part number so if you do buy new, so long as it was made from 2012 onwards it'll fit the 08-15.
My question is, has anyone done the cut out required on the earlier Carbon huggers to make it fit the 2012/13/14? If so any pics available because if it can be done neatly I'll try pick up an older hugger at a more affordable price and modify it myself.

    Cheers

Does anyone know if the king carbon hugger is a good match for the HRC carbon mudguard I have on the front?
