I got this today ! Dear Sir or Madam, good things come to those who wait – thank you very much for your patience! We are happy to announce that our successfully tested solid lubrication system for the Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade (SC59), Year of Construction 2008 – 2011, can be ordered via our online shop CarbonForBikes (CarbonForBikes). Thank you for your interest. Best regards Your CarbonForBikes-Team
Click on the Link and you will see. That's a new lubrication system ( very smart ) but it wasn't available for the Fireblade SC59 til today.
Sorry but there is no better system than visual inspection and cheaper than a can or oil spray? How can you ever recooperate the cost of this compared to several cans of lubricant? Just another bit of of bling.
An automatic oilng system is not "bling". In fact, it's the opposite of bling. Although I'm a Scotoiler man myself.
I don’t like dirt on my bike. On my Kawa 1100 and 900 GPZ I had a full covered system installed (Becker System) which you cannot buy anymore. The chain was running in chain grease all the time. It was even more expensive than the solid lubrication system. If you only think about the money, you shouldn’t customize anything on the bike. People – including me – buying so many useless and very expensive parts for their bikes. The system is already been tested and you can get it as an option for the BMW S1000RR ( not in UK yet ), so I think it can’t be a bling. That doesn’t mean that I am going to buy it.
CarbonForBikes_Installed The instruction is useless. You have to remove the wheel first. Then assemble the parts step by step. Takes about 1 hour +
Great thanks for posting these. Also interested in how it performs on an ongoing basis if you want to let us know how you get on.
Looks good a lot less intrusive than I thought it was going to look, would also be interested to see how it performs, please keep us posted
Horex VR6 Chain lubrication system The chain is lubricated by a special graphite guide block mounted atop the massive single-sided swingarm. The chain gently grinds against the graphite, which applies a film of dry lubricant to the rollers. This unique system is said to prolong the life of the chain and sprockets without flinging oil or grease onto the bike or its rear tire.
