Casey Stoner to race in the Suzuka 8hr

    Honda have confirmed that Casey Stoner will be riding for them alongside Michael van der Mark and Takumi Takahashi at the Suzuka 8hr endurance race on the 26th of July.
    Will be interesting to see how he gets on with the superbike having spent all those years on motogp machinery.

    The suzuka 8 hr is massive in Japan so I'm guessing that Honda made him an offer he couldn't refuse at a time when he's now starting to miss racing. It would be interesting to see what his pay check is for it.

    He raced superbikes before he went to gp's did he not?

    Sure he will do well... Might even get a smile out of him over 8 hours lol

    Be good to see him back....

    Don't think he's ever raced WSB Jimbo, defo would love to see him in there next year. Only on a brand new blade though, not the current one.

    Superbikes, as in stock, and super sport..... What was he racing when in uk?

    Aprilia Superteens 125 championship stuff then Spanish 125 championship before going 125, 250 world championship etc.
