After a day at work came out to go home pulled off next thing I'm on the floor holding on to a spinning bike not a lot of damage but enough Got it home phoned dealer to see what it's going to cost to repair,£200 and he's got the nose cone in stock so no waiting happy days.So that just leaves the engine casing to do but it will have to wait until next month
Sorry to here about the spill. I bet you are gutted mate. £200 for a Repsol Nose is a bargain though!
Very gutted not ridden a lot due to the weather first time I've used it in two weeks I was supprised the dealer had one in stock
Leave the casing as it is and buy a full set of these like U shoulda had on in the first place! http://www.gbracing.eu/Honda.109/CBR1000RA-Fireblade-2010---2014.161/Engine-Protection.192/
Glad you are OK. Covers on my bike were damaged before I bought it and so I bought some R&G covers. I then bought the replacement bits as and when they appeared on ebay.
Sorry to hear I was tempted to get out as sun out and 9c here but I cut the grass instead will wait till double figures hope all gets sorted.
good stuff GB covers, saved my engine cases quite a few times, and the frame slider bobbins are the best ones out there, dont stick out far enough to dig in,but far enough to protect the frame/fairing in a slide.
I took my FJR out on Saturday, first time out on any bike for weeks. Roads were really greasy and had it spinning up a couple of times - was so tempted to take the Fireblade out instead of the FJR - glad I didn't.
Never good to see, but your ok and the bike will fix, GB Racing cover will cover it and they look good
